Festive Pyrography Workshop: Burn Rustic Christmas Decorations

Christmas on Halloween? Absolutely!

Join me at Retford Arts Hub on Saturday 31st October for a festive pyrography workshop where you'll learn the art of wood burning and create three handmade Christmas decorations to take home or gift to loved ones.

Perfect for beginners (aged 16+) as well as those with some creative experience, this relaxed and friendly workshop is suitable for all. I'll show you how to safely use a pyrography pen, practise different marks and textures, and then help you bring your festive designs to life.

Choose from a selection of seasonal wooden shapes and Christmas templates, or create your own designs... they can be spooky if you wish! Each of your three wooden blanks can be decorated on both sides, giving you even more opportunity to get creative. There will also be the option to experiment with adding colour to your designs.

Once finished, you'll add the final touches with a protective finish, twine or ribbon, ready to display.

This workshop offers a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where you can slow down, get creative, and enjoy the satisfaction of making something by hand.
