I'll be there once again hosting the pyrography course! My hands-on, three-day course will introduce you to the fundamentals of wood burning, from mastering safety and using equipment to creating stunning, one-of-a-kind designs. Whether you’re completely new to pyrography or want to refine your skills, this therapeutic craft offers a wonderful way to create personalised, functional art.

What are the dates of the next retreat?
The next retreat takes place between Monday 18th - Friday 22nd August 2025.
The first day is for you to get settled in and meet the organisers, tutors and other students. Then, we craft Tuesday to Thursday, before saying 'See you next time!' and heading home on Friday morning. (I don't do goodbyes!)
I've never been before. What happens when I arrive?
You'll be greeted by the amazing Sue, the creative force behind the retreat, the one who brings all us crafters together!
You will then get a chance to meet the tutor of your chosen craft (which will hopefully be me and pyrography!) before you meet the other students and take some time to settle into your accommodation.
I'm nervous about attending on my own. Will I be okay?
I attended the retreat on my own for the first time in 2024, which I must admit was a little bit daunting walking into the unknown, but I had the best time. It was so much fun and I made lots of new 'crafty' friendships, with fellow tutors and students... some that weren't even on my pyrography course!
It was a week full of creativity and laughter, both in the classrooms and during social times. It's basically a super fun and creative holiday spent with like-minded people, who then become good friends!
